Mauritius/Roots

I was born and brought up in South London and my roots lie in an island that is both beautiful and spiritual, known locally as “Moris.” I’ve spent countless holidays on the lush Indian Ocean island. My father’s ancestry lies in Southern India and we are of Tamil origin. It is a part of my background that I embrace instinctually. These artworks pay homage to that.
